Araguaína is a great and eternal construction site. Every day more, buildings and more buildings are raised, by investors attracted by the economic growth of the city. Even in times of crisis, the numbers overcome expectations.
Besides the skilled workforce, the sector has demands for commercial, residential and public works. In 2016 alone, 2,249 were hired, according to the National Employment System (Sine).
Construction materials stores take advantage of this flow. By 2014, there were 371 of them scattered throughout the city. Today that number has risen to 418 and it tends to grow to keep pace with demand.
