With visibility all over Brazil and strategic logistics, Araguaína stands out as a pole in the north of Tocantins and by the proximity of large cities in the states of Maranhão and Pará. It is also close to Brasília and Goiânia, which makes the transportation of products much easier.

Sought for the implantation of international groups, in addition to attracting investors interested in the market of the interior of Tocantins, Araguaína grew in number of installed factories as it also generated innumerable direct and indirect jobs. In the Agroindustrial District (Daiara), between the years of 2012 and 2015, an average of 1,400 direct jobs were generated.
